Fantasy Football

In an effort to ease the pain of the typical Irish winter Monday morning, we run an annual Fantasy Football competition, based largely on the English Premiership soccer season but which also includes games from the major European soccer competitions.

The competition was first started in 1998 by James Mernin and has remained hugely popular with former colleagues, friends and family alike. The competition is available online at http://www.mernin.com/sports/fprem

Unfortunately, the competition was discontinued is 2009 due to other committments but will hopefully return at a future date.

2CV Racing Team

Eurologic was also a proud sponsor of a Citroen 2CV Racing Team for a number of years. This racing team comprised a number of Eurologic employees in various roles including Aedan Coffey, Derek Harnett and Hans O’Sullivan (drivers) and Mark O’Shea and Paul Noonan (mechanics) as well as several others. Soccer Match Reports

The Eurologic soccer team took part in a number of friendly matches as well as several seasons of the Dublin Companies Soccer League. During this time, a number of match reports were written by Paul Marnane and Gary Quirke.
