Ex-Eurologic Network

Due to the extreme weather currently gripping most of the country, it was been decided to postpone the annual reunion for 2010 until some time in new year. Hopefully, this will not inconvenience anyone too much.

The date for the 2010 Reunion has been set for Wednesday, 22nd December 2010.

As ever, we appreciate that this may not suit everyone (no date does) but we’re hoping this date will give anyone travelling home for Christmas an opportunity to attend. In previous years we had gone with an earlier date so that people who we travelling specifically for the reunion could get reasonable flight prices. However, most of those people cannot attend this year anyway so we’ve gone with Christmas week instead.

The reunion itself will be at the usual (and now customary) location of the Punch Bowl pub, Booterstown, Co. Dublin, from 8.30pm onwards.

If you cannot make it but would like to send a message to those attending on the night, please post a comment below and we will circulate them on the night.

The date for the 2009 Reunion has been brought forward by one week to Wednesday, December 16^th 2009. This is in an effort to try to accommodate those who are willing to travel specifically for the reunion. We appreciate that this may not suit everyone (no date does) but there are quite a few people hoping to attend from abroad this year and the previous date was just too close to Christmas.

The date for the 2008 Eurologic Christmas get-together has been set as Wednesday, December 17^th 2008, at the usual (and now customary) location of the Punch Bowl pub, Booterstown, Co. Dublin, from 8.30pm onwards. I am reliably informed that this date was democratically and unanimously agreed (over several pints no doubt) at an official sub-committee meeting last week.

Dermot Quill will be accepting receipts on the night with a view to implementing the FÁS expenses system, although has indicated that the nature of said receipts should be limited to wine, women and song only, and that “hairdo’s, manicures or pedicures” are strictly exempt from the scheme.

Also, rumours that Brian Doyle clocked up €500 at a nail bar in Navan in preparation for the evening have been heavily refuted as have allegations that Peter Murphy blew €300 on Pay TV in preparation for a Karaoke competition planned for this year.

Thanks to Aedan Coffey, the full Eurologic 2CV Racing Team website is now available on the Ex Eurologic Network.

A new version of the Picture CD has been uploaded to the site. The update (version 1.10) reverts back to the use of larger image resolutions where available.  Until recently, all images had been scaled down to 320×240 pixels in size but this restriction is no longer necessary.

No new pictures were added in this release.
