by Google and a number of the other big Internet companies like Facebook and Yahoo! are planning to run a 24-hour test flight of the IPv6 internet protocol on 8 June this year (2011). They have even promised test tools and a variety of other advice to assist with the effort.
They’re calling it World IPv6 Day.
